News from the Reunion Gift Co-Chairs Reunion week is here and we're in the final push of fundraising. Our class goal is to raise $500,000 for the 1984 25th Reunion gift and we need your help to get there. Whether you give every year or this is the first time in a long time (or ever!), please participate at whatever level is comfortable for you. We truly hope that each member of the class will make a contribution to the Smith Fund and be part of the 25th Reunion gift effort. Large or small, every contribution is appreciated and helps the class and the college. What is the Smith Fund and where does your money go? The Smith Fund benefits the students who attend Smith today, supporting financial aid, teaching expenses, research opportunities, and programs like Praxis and Women in Financial Independence that make Smith an innovative institution. It helps the college be a leader and grow stronger as it evolves with the expectations of a changing student population. |

Here's how much our class has raised, as of May 14, 2009: Committed toward the $500,000 goal: More than $300,000 Only 40 percent of the class has contributed so far, so that means that most of us haven't yet. Please give now so your gift can be counted in the class gift announced during the Ivy Day ceremony. Making a gift online is quick and easy—and you don't need to hunt down a stamp. Go to the secure site www.smith.edu/thefund. You can even contribute in installments using your credit or debit card.
